As
I lay my head upon
the crescent moon…
I’ll never be scared of the dark
for I covered myself
with a blanket of stars.
I
feel a wind pass me by
as the moon yawns…
The
lake is motionless
the animals a calm
as a mother fox comforts her young.
And
just like a child
I’ll never be alone again because
I have Mother Nature and
all of her loveliness.
As
I walk down a path of lifeless leaves
they were not dead to me
for they whisper words
of beauty in my ear…
They
told me unseen
and unheard stories of life.
In
that moment I knew
I would never be able
to forget nor explain
the beautiful feelings I felt.
That
does not matter as long as
I will be able to relive it again.
