Senior Education Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The person in this position conducts an educational training program to certify and qualify students for required and desired proficiency levels to insure continued educational development and eventual career success.

Essential Functions:

1.       IMPACTT is responsible for all policies, procedures, and programs governing student and community relations, occupational and personal safety, recruiting, training, and career development.

2.       The IMPACTT Senior Educational Management group is the focal point for the administration, coordination, control, documentation, and follow-up of all education, skill development, and other organizational responses for all student levels throughout the program.

3.       This group identifies student training and educational topics, develops and manages timely responses to all identified educational needs, ensures a high standard of education and facilitation, and maintains accurate records of education, attendance and behavior.

4.       The Senior Education Manager position responds to educational goals and policies by developing classroom material and instructing students assigned to them on workmanship standards, process procedures, and operations to ensure that the students are qualified to an acceptable level of proficiency to prepare them for any subsequent career choice.

5.       The person in this position, certified by the directors, is empowered to certify individuals assigned to them based on skills demonstrated through various educational programs.

6.       The division must provide to the school documented evidence that scholastic standards are within required and certified government standards.

7.       The Senior Education Manager provides a minimum of 45 contact hours of training in AIMS or SAT testing training to ensure that eligible students assigned to them are qualified to meet acceptable standards of proficiency.

8.       The Senior Education Manager conducts this training and is empowered to certify successful students assigned to them at the conclusion of the training.

9.       The Senior Education Manager must also be qualified to interpret and communicate to the students assigned to them, the policies and procedures in areas such as rubric interpretation, school and program standards, government standards, and college admissions standards.

10.    In conducting all educational programs, the Senior Education Manager identifies and attempts to circumvent various problems that could manifest themselves in an actual college or job situation if not corrected during the classroom session. These problems include but are not limited to student attitude, work ethic, reading impairment or comprehension, or other learning problems.

11.    After identifying any of these problems, the Senior Education Manager may counsel the affected student in an attempt to resolve the problem. If a student fails to meet course requirements, the Senior Education Manager meets with a program director to discuss and recommend a course of action.

12.    In addition to conducting classroom training, the Senior Education Manager monitors and assesses the performance of students assigned to them by routinely observing the work of those students.

13.    This monitoring and assessment requires the ability to understand and solve problems and also requires a functional knowledge of a variety of specified procedures.

14.    If the Senior Education Manager identifies a problem trend, he or she may decide to modify educational content to adequately address that trend.

15.    The Senior Education Manager is required to document any discrepancies between observed workmanship standards and accepted or specified standards in students assigned to them.

16.    One of the key aspects of this task is that the Senior Education Manager sometimes functions as an arbitrator between the student and the program director.

17.    The Senior Education Manager is required to follow the procedures described in the program and school standards.

Participating as required in solving educational problems by advising the directors of better ways comply with governing standards, school standards, and college and workplace standards.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Senior Education Manager is accountable for the following results:

1.       Ensuring that students assigned to them are being adequately prepared to be admitted to, and succeed in the college of their choice.

2.       Ensuring that students are prepared to pass any standardized tests they are required to pass including but not limited to AIMS, SAT and ACT.

3.       Maintaining their own progress towards their educational and career goals.

4.       Ensuring quality education through the effective monitoring and assessment of the workmanship, academic progress and behavior and attitude of the students in their charge.

5.       Leading, by their example, all students in the program to be the best they can be.


 

 

 

 

 

Junior Education Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The person in this position assists the Senior Education Manager in conducting an educational training program to certify and qualify students for required and desired proficiency levels to insure continued educational development and eventual career success.

Essential Functions:

1.       IMPACTT is responsible for all policies, procedures, and programs governing student and community relations, occupational and personal safety, recruiting, training, and career development.

2.       The IMPACTT Junior Educational Management group is an important element for the administration, coordination, control, documentation, and follow-up of all education, skill development, and other organizational responses for all sophomore and freshmen student levels in the program.

3.       This group assists the Senior Management Group and the Senior Education Manager to whom they are assigned.  This group helps identify student training and educational topics, develop and manage timely responses to all identified educational needs, and ensure a high standard of education and facilitation.

4.       The Junior Education Manager position responds Senior Education Manager to whom they are assigned by helping to develop classroom material and instructing students delegated to them on workmanship standards, process procedures, and operations to ensure that the students are qualified to an acceptable level of proficiency to prepare them for any subsequent career choice.

5.       The Junior Education Manager assists in AIMS or SAT testing training to ensure that eligible students assigned to them are qualified to meet acceptable standards of proficiency.

6.       The Junior Education Manager must also be qualified to interpret and communicate to the students delegated to them, the policies and procedures in areas such as rubric interpretation, school and program standards, government standards, and college admissions standards.

7.       The Junior Education Manager helps to identify and circumvent various problems that could manifest themselves in an actual college or job situation if not corrected during the classroom session. These problems include but are not limited to student attitude, work ethic, reading impairment or comprehension, or other learning problems.

Education Specialist (Sophomore)

POSITION PURPOSE:

The person in this position is being trained by the Senior Education Manager to advance to position of Junior Education Manager.  The person is acquiring the skills to be certified and qualified for required and desired proficiency levels to insure continued educational development and eventual career success.

Essential Functions:

1.       IMPACTT is responsible for all policies, procedures, and programs governing student and community relations, occupational and personal safety, recruiting, training, and career development.

2.       The IMPACTT Educational Specialist group is a developing element responsible for learning the administration, coordination, control, documentation, and follow-up of all education, skill development, and other organizational responses in the program.

3.       This group may occasionally be called upon to assist the Senior Management Group and the Senior Education Manager to whom they are assigned.  This group is learning to identify student training and educational topics, develop and manage timely responses to all identified educational needs, and ensure a high standard of education and facilitation.

4.       The Educational Specialist position responds Senior Education Manager to whom they are assigned by occasionally helping to develop classroom material and in some circumstances instructing students delegated to them on workmanship standards, process procedures, and operations to ensure that the students are qualified to an acceptable level of proficiency to prepare them for any subsequent career choice.

5.       The Educational Specialist is responsible to become qualified to meet acceptable standards of proficiency on the AIMS and SAT.

6.       The Educational Specialist is responsible for becoming qualified to interpret and communicate to the students that will be delegated to them, the policies and procedures in areas such as rubric interpretation, school and program standards, government standards, and college admissions standards.

7.       One of the aspects of this task is that Educational Specialist rarely functions as the Senior Education Manager is their absence and the Junior Education Managers absence.

8.       The Educational Specialist is required to follow the procedures described in the program and school standards.

Education Trainee (Freshman)

The person in this position is being trained by the Senior Education Manager to advance to position of Educational Specialist.  The person is acquiring the skills to be certified and qualified for required and desired proficiency levels to insure continued educational development and eventual career success.

2.       The IMPACTT Educational Trainee group is a developing element responsible for learning the administration, coordination, control, documentation, and follow-up of all education, skill development, and other organizational responses in the program.

3.       This group is learning to identify student training and educational topics, develop and manage timely responses to all identified educational needs, and ensure a high standard of education and facilitation.

4.       The Educational Trainee position responds Senior Education Manager to whom they are assigned by completing assignments and learning workmanship standards, process procedures, and operations to ensure that the students are qualified to an acceptable level of proficiency to prepare them for any subsequent career choice.

5.       The Educational Trainee is responsible to become qualified to meet acceptable standards of proficiency on the AIMS and SAT.

6.       The Educational Trainee is responsible for becoming qualified to interpret and communicate to the students that will be delegated to them, the policies and procedures in areas such as rubric interpretation, school and program standards, government standards, and college admissions standards.

7.       The Educational Specialist is required to follow the procedures described in the program and school standards.
